This Inquiry is loosely developed around The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (2013) “The e5 Instructional Model”.

 

Engage: Introduction (Lesson 1)  This is only an over view of a lesson, not a lesson plan, it can be found under Arts Quest: Intergrated Project Introduction page.

 

Explore: Connecting with the local environment through the senses (Lessons 2, 3 & 4).  These lessons will be carried out in the field and one of each of the Arts: Visual, Music and Drama will be covered.  These lessons can be found on this Wix site under Visual, Music and Drama retrospectively.

 

Explore: Indigenous ways of creating (Lessons 5, 6 & 7). One of each of the Arts: Visual, Music and Drama will be covered.  These lessons can be found on this Wix site under Visual, Music and Drama retrospectively.

 

Explain: Make their own representation of the Murray River Creation Story: Making sense what they saw, heard and imagined in the field, from the Indigenous workshops and resources found on the web (Lessons 8, 9 & 10).   One of each of the Arts: Visual, Music and Drama will be covered.  These lessons can be found on this Wix site under Visual, Music and Drama retrospectively.

 

Elaborate: Reflect and Respond: Bringing it all together:  (Lesson 11) Collaboration & Production: Teaming up bringing the three Arts forms together as a collaboration to perform to a broader audience.  This is only an over view of a lesson, not a lesson plan, it can be found under "Students make a production".

 

Evaluate: The students self-evaluate their performance and progression throughout the unit.
